What makes a good wedding filmmaker?

Just like any wedding professional, having a process is key. What does that mean? When we’re specifically speaking about wedding filmmakers, they should be able to tell you exactly how they get specific parts of their job done and in what order they do it. You don’t want someone who operates flying by the seat of their pants!

What’s the difference between filming vs photographing?

Where photography captures individual moments, giving you the opportunity to have a beautiful keepsake you can hang on your wall… filming your wedding allows you to relive the wedding day in a more wholesome experience. When you go back to watch your wedding films, you get to see AND hear the moments & people you otherwise would have missed. It’s not about flexing online for who has the coolest wedding film, it’s about thoroughly documenting the things & people that are most important to you so you never forget them.

How quickly should a wedding film be delivered to us?

We’ve all heard the horror stories of couples who have had to wait 6 months to a year for their wedding film because the “art” takes time. That’s nonsense. At Buttoned Up, our team can produce a phenomenally edited wedding film in 8 weeks or less. How? Because we’ve done this a lot. From your wedding day to the final delivery, our process is so dialed in we literally don’t miss.

Is it even worth it?

Yes. Regardless of if you go with us or not… yes 1000x. You literally have a singular day you are getting married on with so many people, emotions, and moments that will fly by faster than you can blink.
